Fort Rowdy Gathering
7pm - 9pm Get DirectionsWe’re excited to be included on the schedule of live acts for the 2020 Fort Rowdy Gathering in historic Covington, Ohio this Labor Day weekend! The Fort Rowdy Gathering is an annual tradition since 1992, to celebrate the village of Covington’s origin as a fort of thatname, built by the forces of Mad Anthony Wayne during the Northwest Indian War. It’s an entire weekend of festival fun with music, games, historic demonstrations, contests, craft vending, lots of great food anda glimpse into camp life of yesterday. All the action takes place at picturesque Community Park alongside the Stillwater River. It’s fun for the whole family and admission is FREE! Southbound is honored to be a part of this year’s Fort Rowdy Festival and hopes you’ll make the short drive from Dayton to be a part of the fun, not only for our show, but for all the great bands that will be featured throughout the weekend and all the other attractions the festival has to offer. Dayton OktoberFest
2:30pm - 4:30pm Get directionsIt's a Dayton tradition that is rooted in beer, wine and good times... Oktoberfest, on the grounds of The Dayton Art Institute! We're thrilled to be among the acts scheduled to perform at the 49th Oktoberfest the last weekend in September. A Dayton tradition since 1972, Oktoberfest includes artisans, unique international foods, one of the best selections of domestic, international and craft beers in the area, family-friendly art activities, live music, a Weingarten with a variety of international wines, and much more! Oktoberfest includes a fully covered main stage viewing area, an expanded craft beer tent with big-screen TVs for all of the weekend’s football action, and live music on two stages throughout the weekend. All proceeds from the event are to help benefit The Dayton Art Institute. This is one Dayton tradition you won't want to miss, and we at Southbound are truly honored to get to be a part of it.
